First-time
home buyer
You
just finished one of the hardest parts of becoming
a first-time home buyer...GETTING STARTED!!!
Congratulations. Every
homeowner started with the same concerns and
questions as you have right now. And one of those
biggest concerns is whether, or not, you have
enough buying power to purchase a home, or the home
you want.
The
best way to answer that question is to see a
Realtor or loan officer. Any loan officer can look
over some basic financial information you provide
and tell you in about 30 minutes how much home you
can afford if you qualified for a loan. While we
aren't bankers, and can't tell you for sure what a
banker's decision may be, the links below should
help give you a good idea whether you can afford to
purchase a home and how large a loan you can
afford.
It's
important to remember that the links to the
mortgage calculators and loan rates may not be the
same that any loan officer you talk with will use.
They will, however, give you a very good rough
estimate.
One
more thing. If you can qualify for a FHA or VA
loan, the percentages are usually more liberal.
This usually makes it easier to qualify for this
type of loan.
Don't hesitate
to call us at the Starkville Coldwell Banker office (662) 323-8700
if you get stuck or have any questions. We check Email
at least twice a day, too.
